General Rules

The European School for Sommelier adopts its own code of behavior that is summarized here in its salient points. These general rules should be adhered to by everyone, both the staff and the students.

  1. To take advantage of educational services, each participant must have up-to-date his annual subscription card of European School for Sommeliers.
  2. The Sommelier course is divided into three basic levels, you can lead  to the next level only after passing the final test of the previous level.
  3. The  improvement  Masters courses  can be reserved only for those who achived the status of internal Sommelier.
  4. The class schedule is established at the beginning of the course. 
  5. The teachers and the students must observe strict punctuality. In exceptional cases the beginning of class may be postponed up to 10 minutes, while the end  may be delayed up to 20 minutes.
  6. The  students must observe the utmost attention at all stages of the lesson. The students who disturb incorrectly will be officially reprimanded.
  7. Students to be given the opportunity to ask questions during class as long as relevant to the lesson itself, and without impeding the progress of the lesson.
  8. The student who is absent without justification for three lessons, will not be admitted to the final test.
  9. During the final test is not allowed to talk with others persons. In case of persistence, the student  will be penalized on the final test scores. In case of doubt about the interpretation of the test, the student can ask directly the teacher for clarifications
